Dear Parents,
2009 so far has been a great year for our student ministry. Hopefully your student(s) was able to have meaningful experiences during our 4 week sessions where we separated the High School and Middle School students. Facilitating "Generation Change" with our High School students was fun for me, and I really think that each of them was presented with not only a biblical perspective of how to be a good steward, but also came away with practical applications for living a God honoring life.
Our Friday Night Lights have been something that I believe our students are enjoying. The original intent for these events was to create an atmosphere where our students could feel comfortable to invite their friends who have not made a significant commitment to Christ, and it still is. Pray with us as we continue to offer evangelistic opportunities as well as discipleship opportunities for students within our community.

As we head into March, I want to let you know of something that I am going to be encouraging the students to participate in. It is a campaign put out by blood water mission called "Forty Days of Water." For more information go to:
bloodwatermission.com/40days. We will be collecting money for this each Wednesday as an extension of our already exisitng One Water:One Life campaign.
For a
list of events please check back periodically on our
main site for the most up to date information .
Thanks again for allowing us to help your student become an engaged follower of Christ. Please continue to pray that God would use CSO to reach the thousands of students in our community who have yet had the opportunity to experience an authentic relationship with Christ and His people.
Soli Deo Gloria
